If a student needs to leave campus before the end of the school day, the parent or authorized adult must first go to the lobby welcome counter to fill out an Early Dismissal form to take to the teacher/s.  This allows the teacher/s to know that the office is aware that the student is leaving early.   If you plan for your student to return later, please sign them back in at the welcome counter upon return.  This procedure allows us to keep track of who is on campus during the school day. Students are not allowed to leave campus or exit the buildings during the school day without permission.

High school students who plan to dual enroll in college courses should watch for Fall and Spring registration deadlines each year and be familiar with the college’s dual enrollment requirements. Check the college website for pre-requisites for any classes you plan to take before applying.
Additional note:  Polk State College requires high school students who have passed the PERT to submit a signed dual enrollment application from CBCA each semester.
