Why be a cougar?
As members of the Florida Christian Conference, CBCA offers junior varsity and varsity athletics for 6th-12th grade. We comply with conference guidelines and eligibility rules for athletic competition, and our teams have won multiple championships in soccer, volleyball, basketball, and golf throughout the history of our program. Our athletic director, J.D. Lewis, works alongside volunteer coaches to train CBCA athletes in the areas of sportsmanship and team building, while teaching the fundamentals of the game.

how to play?
1. show interest
Our CBCA Sports program is offered to those students who are enrolled in the FULL PROGRAM or ASSOCIATE PROGRAM, 6th grade to 12th grade, and have shown interest in learning or playing a sport listed that we offer. Some sports teams may not be available due to lack of participants. Some sports only available to 7th-12th graders.
2. sign required forms
As with any extracurricular activity, CBCA does require the Athletic Code of Conduct and the Athletic Physical forms both to be filled out prior to the start of any sport. We do require that the student be in good health and physically fit in order to participate. Please see Mr. J.D. Lewis – Athletic Director for any questions and for more information about the requirements to participate in CBCA Sports. Get the forms here.
3. Practice
Practice. Practice. Practice. If you want to be a CBCA COUGAR and play as a CBCA COUGAR then you have to make it to the practices.
“You can practice shooting eight hours a day, but if your technique is wrong, then all you become is very good at shooting the wrong way. Get the fundamentals down and the level of everything you do will rise.”
