Calvary Baptist Church Academy (CBCA), a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church, was founded in 1996 as a faith-based non-public school for home educating families.  We offer full record keeping services, as well as our unique “Friday School.”  While maintaining their academic studies at home, our students enjoy the classroom experience at CBCA on Fridays, where we offer fine arts and practical arts classes that include Band, Chorus, Drama, Art, Hand Chimes, Consumer Science, and much more.  Students also take part in a variety of activities such as our fine arts and awards programs, drama and music performances and competitions, and our high school graduation exercises.  We uphold Christian standards and encourage parental involvement. Students in our record keeping program have access to online courses through FLVS (Florida Virtual School) and college dual enrollment classes at various local colleges including Polk State College, Southeastern University, and Florida Southern College.  Our middle and high school students may participate in our conference athletics program which offers junior varsity and varsity levels of soccer, volleyball, basketball, golf, and softball.

Our professional affiliations include SSACS (Sunshine State Association of Christian Schools), AACS (American Association of Christian Schools), FCC (Florida Christian Conference), FMEA (Florida Music Educators Association), FVA (Florida Vocal Association), FPEA (Florida Parent Educators Association), and FLVS (Florida Virtual School).
