ABOUT CBCA LAKELAND
established 1996
who we are...
Calvary Baptist Church Academy is a Kindergarten through 12th grade private Christian school and home school support group in Lakeland, Florida offering an award-winning fine arts program (choir, band, drama, visual art), junior varsity and varsity sports, other rotating electives, and academic record keeping. Calvary Academy was founded in 1996 as a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church. We offer classes all day on Fridays, a feature we call “Friday School.” Calvary families complete their home school programs using a curriculum of their choice Monday-Thursday. We also offer field trips, extra rehearsals, and special events throughout the year.
Students take part in a variety of activities such as drama and music performances/competitions, our end of year awards program, and high school graduation exercises. Calvary Academy gives students an opportunity to build their faith in a Christian environment. We encourage parents to participate and be involved in Friday School and occasionally request help in some areas of teaching.
